Conditions: 

  • Start: 53 (Feels like 50), 78% humidity, Wind NE @ 11 MPH, Dew Point 47 means very little moisture on the ground
  • End: 52 (Feels like 47), 77% humidity, Wind NNE @ 16 MPH, Dew Point 45

Purpose: Not stated, but to get sharper and to push each other for 45 minutes to get sharper and stronger

Warm-up: 

  • Mosey the loop around the big field
  • TTT (x10 IC)
  • Imperial Walkers (x10 IC)
  • Michael Phelps (x10 IC)

Thang: The large field was divided into 10 segments approximately 10 yards apart.

  • 11s – Run to the first cone, perform one rep of exercise #1, return to the flag, perform 10 reps of exercise #2. Run to next cone, increase exercise #1 by 1 rep, and decrease exercise #2 by 1 rep. Continue the pattern to complete all 11 sections:
    • Round 1: Burpees and Big Boys
    • Round 2: American Hammers and Arm Presses
  • Ladder of Flutters – run to cone #1, perform 4 count of flutters, run to each cone in succession, increasing 4 count by 1 each time (8, 12, etc.). After completing cone #10, proceed back down the ladder reducing the 4 count flutters by 1 each time (36, 32, etc.)
  • Conclude with Ring of Fire (Push-Ups x8)
  • Cool down with various stretches for the last 5 or so minutes

  • Schnitzel had lot’s of questions today, and all were warranted due to unclear instructions from YHC
  • The volume on the playlist was a bit loud for close quarters, clearly a demonstration of a powerful speaker
  • Great push by all parties!
