Main Thang: After giving the option of ‘Up’ or ‘Down’, the Nantan chose ‘Up’, we headed out. At the corner of Pritchard and Bruin, PAX completed a round of Lazy Dora.
Partner Up. Partners preform 100 Merkins, 200 LBCs and 300 Squats as a team. P1 starts with 10 Merkins while P2 planks, then switch until they each 100 reps. Next P1 does 20 LBCs, P2 preforms a 6” leg hold until P1 is finished until all 200 LBCs are complete. Finally, P1 does 30 squats while P2 does an Al Gore until 300 squats are completed.
PAX then ran to Calhoun and May River and switched to a new partner and completed the Lazy Dora again. Starting to run low on time, PAX ran back down May River/Bruin while stopping at Nickel Pumpers and again at Pritchard and Bruin for 25 Monkey Humpers each.
PAX returned to Swanson’s Pad with no time for Mary.
Announcements: P200 Training, CSAUP May 29th, 6:30 Coligny Beach Park (ON THE BEACH! As directed in the pre-backblast from Squid).
Prayers: Continued grace for parents dealing with kids that just finished school (private schools) and those that are grinding out the last weeks in public school.
Moleskin: Over the past few days, YHC has been in quite a bit of neck and back pain after GATA’s VQ, however, I didn’t let that hold me back. YHC pushed through and made sure that all the PAX had a great Q. Once we warmed up, the Nantan started questioning my tactics for creating Qs. I gave him the option of up or down. A lot of PAX are starting to question, if there are 2 options or if I plan to do the same workout no matter the answer. I think I’ll keep everyone guessing and won’t answer.
It was great seeing everyone get at it today. T-claps to GATA! He’s out there pushing hard and I can see his endurance growing. Good to see some old faces Ollie and Cubby out there. All PAX should be reaching out to guys they haven’t seen in a while and EH them to post.
I hope to see a few more than usual tomorrow at the Buck.
