Short mosey between Belk buildings.  Stop and do 10 burpees

Short mosey around Kroger.  Stop and do 10 burpees

Mosey to stage for The Thang:

Back by popular demand, let’s do Crazy 8s, 51st Birthday Style.  51 reps of everything and we completed a little more than 2 circuits (816 reps!).  In a figure 8 around Shelter Cove Park, were the following stations:

  1. Derkins or dips (Shelter Cove Stage)
  2. Plank Jacks
  3. Groiners or Big Boys
  4. Squats
  5. Mt Climbers
  6. Lunges – 26 steps one way, turn around for 25 more
  7. Merkins
  8. ½ Motivator – count down from 5.  (not 51 but who’s counting)

After 2 circuits, mosey to Circle:

Run around small field and circle and do 4 burpees per lap for 4 laps (51 total burpees)


51 single count flutters.

I can’t think of a better way to start my birthday than leading 11 Pax in a hot, sweaty beat down followed by coffeeteria.  As always, your presence is my present and is a gift that keeps on giving.  I’m thankful for all of you every time I can get out with you all.
