Mosey one time around the “square” and line up for 11’s on the side nearest the water. Start with 1 monkey humper on the water side, run to the opposite side to perform 10 Plank Destroyers (plank position, drop to elbows, back to plank, merkin, shoulder taps, plank jack), bear crawl back to water side for 2 monkey humpers and so forth…
YHC was impressed. The Yacht Club is an athletic AO with plenty of gazelles. Once a few of the gazelles were finished with their 11’s YHC called the exercise and prepped the pax for 7 of Diamonds (7 partner derkins at each corner, 14 jump squats at each corner, 21 Mike Tyson’s at each corner, 28 flutter kicks at each corner). This is where leadership began to show cracks. With the time left YHC anticipated only 1 or 2 rounds of the 7 of Diamonds and only called the first two exercises. Never assume that with the Yacht Club. Before long, the gazelles finished the called exercises and were calling their own. In an effort to regain control YHC had the pax circle up for 21, which the pax performed flawlessly. Back to the flag for Mary where various pax called their favorites… the most memorable was learning how fun Canoe can be, thanks to Waffle House. For Canoe, start on your 6 with your feet interlocked 6 inches above the ground as if in a canoe, followed by arm paddling on left and right.
COT: YHC brought a Lions Den tradition called “6th man”, where after counting off the 6th man will share a bit more about himself, perhaps something the pax does not already know. Nae Nae was 6th man. From Augusta, moved to HHI in 2004, is in sales, loves fishing and working out, has been in F3 for a year and a half. Nae Nae shared he is dealing with the loss of a loved one and commented on how the F3 brothers have been there to support. Realized F3 has impacted him far beyond what he had thought, helping with the grieving process and pushing forward.
Godfather shared his morning practice of connecting to the Lord (Psalm 19:14), seeking direction from the Lord (Proverbs 3:5+6), and protection of the Lord (Psalm 91:14-16).
Announcement/Prayer requests: Next Wednesday is check presentation at Bluffton at 5:15. Praise for M’s birthday. Mud run with the 2.0’s. Continued prays for Nae Nae’s friends from Augusta.
